About Rock, Paper, Scissors

Rock, Paper Scissors is a lifestyle store, gallery space and creative community hub situated in the heart of historic Canterbury. It is dedicated to championing regional artisans and positive community change. Our masterclass here takes place in the workshop nestled behind the shop, just a stones throw from the Great Stour.

    Rock, Paper Scissors is located in the historic center of Canterbury. While the venue can be accessed by car for pickup and drop off, parking options are limited to public parking nearby at Castle Row Car Park, Whitefriars Car Park or Watling Street Car Park. The most affordable parking within a 15 minute walk is Canterbury East Station Car Park.

  • Public Transport

    By Train: Canterbury East station is a 7-minute walk away (trains from London Victoria). Canterbury West is 15–20 minutes' walk and has high-speed (sub 1hr) Javelin services from London St Pancras.
    By Bus: Canterbury Bus Station (St George's Lane) is a 6-minute walk. Stagecoach South East operates most services and serves the surrounding area comprehensively.
    Coach: National Express stops a short walk from the city centre.

  • Accessibility

    There is step free access from the street to the workshop room via the side entrance on Water Lane. The toilet is accessible by step-free route, but it is not a fully accessible or ambulant toilet. There are no grab rails or support handles, and the space may not accommodate a wheelchair. Seating is on bar height stools at a high table. Please contact us in advance if you have any accessibility requirements.
